Jack London
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Who is Jack London? What are some important facts about him and how does his personal life relate to the story?
PREREADING REFLECTION:
Do you have pets? If so, how many, what are they, what are their names? Describe them. If not, why not? Do you not want them? Are you allergic? If you could have a pet what would you want it to be?
Yes, I do have pet. I only have one dog and his name is Chester. He is a black and white Shih Tzu. My dog likes to eat a lot but he isn't that fat. He likes to play with me a lot whatever I do he follows me along. He loves to take walks and play outside and run around but mostly he loves to just lay down and be lazy. It doesn't mean that he doesn't watch what we do he still does. Mostly my dog follows me and listens to me only I don't really know why but i think its because i was the first child and he knows me more than my sister and my parents cause he doesn't really listen to them that much but they still love him anyway I love him more.
How do people, whether it is you or someone you know, treat their animals/pets?
The people I know treat there pets good. Not much of the people were I live have pets there is only one person. She treats her dog nice and he is always nice. If you go up to him he will lick you he wont hurt you at all. He is a well cared dog and well treated and listens about the same as my dog.
What is a wolf? Provide brief, but specific, information on what a wolf is, their species, etc. Provide an image.
A wolf is a type of dog that is much different then our dogs we have and love. Wolfs are located North America, Eurasia, and North Africa. They like cold climate. They howl because it means that one wolf is endanger or the wolf is alone. Many wolves eat meant they kill like deer and other animals but some of them are used for sled racing in Alaska but only the special ones that can and know how to sled-race.
What is a food chain? Explain and provide an image?
A food chain is a type of cycle that all animals use. Like many dogs their cycle is dog food and water and other things u may think that dogs eat. Also wolves, there cycle is meat if all the meat in the world like deer and others were endangered the wolves would have nothing to eat to that will mean that wolves would be endangered also.
What do you think "survival of the fittest" means? How can you relate this to animals? How can you relate this to your own life?
I think that ''survival of the fittest'' its a natural advantage of survival. I relate it to animals because animals will find food, avoid enemies, and live to the adulthood. I can relate survival of the fittest to my own life as parents protect me from danger so I can survive.
