The photo and caption was used in this book because maybe Rosa Parks wanted to show us what they did and were they were leading to and how they looked.

President Roosevelt changed the law by help by the NAACP because they cared for African-Americans.

5.) Why did Rosa choose to tell the reader about her experience getting kicked off the bus?
Rosa choose to tell the reader about her experience about getting kicked off the bus because she wanted to tell us how strong she was and not weak about sitting and not getting off and on the bus to do it right like the others.
6.) Why did the African-American people in the back of the bus want Rosa to do what the bus driver said?
The African-American people wanted Rosa to do what the bus driver said because then the bus driver would hit her or beat her or call the police to have her arrested.

One of the examples that Rosa gives of white violence against African-American is in Abbeville during the summer in 1945 there was just a black teenager named Jeremiah Reeves he was very young he always went to a white lady's house and they began to have an affair the people began to notice. One day on the same particular day someone peeked through the window an saw them getting undressed the women notice and yelled that she was being raped the police came and arrested him he was about 17 to 18 years old. His mother brought the case to the NAACP and they did struggle for a few years. Her name was Cornella Snow she was married and had many children but Jeremiah was her eldest. He was on Death Row until he was 21 years old then executed him. (pg.85-86)

Working at the NAACP didn't affect her life because she was happy doing it and being part of it instead of being in the kitchen cooking and cleaning she'd rather be helping people trying to solve cases.
